Pomegranate and Pitaya Maple Cheer Smoothie
Pomegranate and pitaya may be staples around your home. Or maybe not. So consider the luscious red juice of pomegranate, an ancient remedy for all sorts of ills. Add pitaya, a cactus known more commonly as dragonfruit. Add the berries and bananas which are more likely to be staples, and voilà: a delicious treat made even more exotic by DRINKmaple pure maple water from the exotic forests of Vermont.
INGREDIENTS
2 packs of raw frozen dragonfruit
1.5 frozen banana
1 cup frozen berries (blackberries recommended)
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1.5 cups DRINKmaple
DIRECTIONS
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Toppings: pomegranate seeds, cacao nibs
