12 Days of Christmas Body Weight Workouts
We put together a fun holiday-themed workout to the tune of the classic Christmas song -- minus the partridge in a pear tree (we’re more about the maple tree, if you catch our drift).
This festive workout consists solely of body weight exercises, which can easily be squeezed into your hectic holiday schedule (no excuses!). These workouts are simple enough to complete in the comfort of your home -- before, after, or even in between Christmas shopping, holiday parties, baking, family time and work.
Each exercise is broken down into sets. We recommend that you complete 12 REPS PER SET for each exercise (keeping up with the song theme!). For example, on the second day of Christmas, you will have to complete 2 sets of jumping jacks. This means that you complete 2 sets of 24 jumping jacks, which will give you a total of 48 jumping jacks. Keep a fast pace going, and watch as each day progresses into a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout with increased intensity.
So what are you waiting for? Grab a bottle of Drink Simple Maple Water and get your holly jolly sweat on!
